Jaroslav Maléř bought his first camera when he was 15 and hasn't stopped ever since.

‍

His wide range of experiences include 4 years in the film industry, mainly as a cinematographer
or gaffer on short films, music videos and commercials.
Beyond that, his photography experience includes events, concerts and sports photography.

His graphic design passion turned into adventure, when he began working as an art director
and a graphic designer for a multigenre festival Konťák for the past 3 years.

In 2023 he began doing live visuals for musical artists, using mainly analog video gear.

‍

In 2025 he graduated as a Bachelor of Arts in TBU Zlín, specialising in Cinematography.
Currently he is studying Masters in Cinematography.

He loves to combine mixed media and unusual ideas to achieve something unique.
The passionate about music, movement and adventure is what keeps him going.
